In Arizona's first exhibition game, against Saint Mary's, Bryce James only got on the board with a single free throw.

On Monday night, LeBron's younger son found a way to his first field goal.

Positioned on the weak side of the floor, James crashed the offensive glass, grabbed a strong rebound, and went back up off the glass and in for 2.

It was the only basket Bryce scored in 15 minutes of action.

Arizona was taking on Division II Embry-Riddle and won in blowout fashion, 113-42.

A dozen different players played double-digit minutes, including Bryce with his 15.

But in those 15 minutes, Bryce finished with just those two points to go along with three total rebounds.

Bryce isn't likely to see much time in his freshman season after arriving at Arizona as a three-star prospect. The Wildcats have a strong rotation of college experience, and Bryce is still polishing his game.

That's partly why Arizona plays an exhibition against a D-II school, though. It allows everyone to get ample time to work on their games, and it was a good chance for Bryce James to see some solid minutes.
