Anthony Edwards’ doppelgänger looked just like the Timberwolves star in Baylor debut image

The resemblance is uncanny.

The Baylor Bears men's basketball team has a freshman named Tounde Yessoufou, and he looks strikingly like Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards.

Yessoufou made his college debut Monday night as Baylor took on UT-Rio Grande Valley. He didn't disappoint.

The top-of-the-line freshman put up 24 points and seven rebounds.

Check out these Edwards-like highlights:

Yessoufou was a four-star recruit out of Santa Maria, California, who 247Sports ranked as the No. 17 player in the Class of 2025.

He's listed at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds (Edwards is listed at 6-4, 225).

Yessoufou is originally from the African nation of Benin. He literally broke the backboard in his first-ever high school game.

This will not be the last you hear of Yessoufou.

And maybe someday soon, he and Edwards will get the chance to line up across from each other, not unlike looking in the mirror.
