Jones landed a two-way contract with the 2023-24 NBA champions, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
The Denver Nuggets are signing guard Curtis Jones to a two-way NBA contract, agent Austin Walton of NEXT Sports tells ESPN. After going undrafted out of Iowa State, Jones had a stellar summer league for the Nuggets, averaging 15 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists on 47% from 3.

During the NBA Summer League, Jones averaged a team-leading 14.6 points per game despite playing just the seventh-most minutes. That was much like his last year with the Cyclones, as he came off the bench early on before being inserted into the lineup due to injuries.
Along with his points, Jones added 4.4 rebounds and almost four assists per game, shooting 47 percent from the 3-point line.
Jones will be on the NBA G-League Grand Rapids Gold roster and be able to be called up to be on the bench for the Nuggets. Two-way players can compete in up to 50 NBA games per season but are not eligible for the playoffs under that contract.
A native of Minneapolis, Jones started his college career in the junior college ranks with Indian Hills in Iowa. He transferred to Buffalo before having a breakout run with Iowa State.
