Cameron Boozer's double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds powered No. 5 Duke to a 93-56 win over Howard on Sunday. The Blue Devils' (7-0) dominant start to the season rolls on.
Patrick Ngongba II added 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting, and Isaiah Evans chipped in 11 for Duke, which shot 67.7% from the field and led comfortably from the opening minutes.
This was the Blue Devils' second straight game holding an opponent to under 20 point in the first half. Duke took a 52-18 halftime lead and cruised.
Bryce Harris scored 15 points and Travelle Bryson had 13 for Howard (3-4), which was unable to slow any momentum.
The margin grew to 50 in the second half as Duke continued to knock down shots. The Blue Devils now turn their focus to Thursday’s matchup against No. 21 Arkansas in Chicago.
