The Toronto Raptors hadn't even completed the first half on Sunday when the bad news came.
Jakob Poeltl won't be returning to the game against the Brooklyn Nets. He's injured.
The Raptors announced during the second quarter that Poeltl has lower back tightness and is done for the night.
Poeltl had two points and two rebounds in seven minutes before exiting and not coming back.

The Raptors have Sandro Mamukelashvili backing up Poeltl.
They also have the rookie Collin Murray-Boyles.
Toronto will hope this is just a short absence for Poeltl. He's still a solid interior presence, and he's the best center the Raptors have.
