Despite being riddled with injuries, the San Antonio Spurs have remained afloat in the Western Conference race, currently in fourth place. They entered play on Tuesday night with a 13-6 record, looking to pick up a win while shorthanded against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Without the impressive young duo of Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle, Harrison Barnes took it upon himself to shoulder the load offensively. Barnes scored a game-high 31 points, on 10-for-20 shooting including 7-for-12 from long range. This marked Barnes' highest scoring performance as a member of the Spurs in over 100 games played.

When asked by the media if he knew about reaching this new mark, Barnes responded simply: "Man, it's nice."

De'Aaron Fox added 29 points and three steals as well. The recent No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Dylan Harper scored 15 points off the bench on 5-for-10 shooting to go along with six assists. Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan were also in double-figures. Luke Kornet anchored San Antonio on the defensive end, racking up five blocks.

Despite Wembanyama and Castle being sidelined, San Antonio has now won six of their last eight games after their seven-point victory against Memphis.

That said, San Antonio has a tough test upcoming. They'll begin a four game road trip on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic before facing the New Orleans Pelicans, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers.
