The Miami Heat have officially been named as one of the preferred Kevin Durant trade spots by him and his team. The question becomes what kind of package the Suns can get out of Miami. We look at one Durant-Suns trade idea that could be enough to get the deal done.
Ricky O’Donnell of SB Nation made up a few Kevin Durant trade proposals from his biggest suitors. This is the Heat-Suns trade that was drawn up:
Miami Heat trade: Andrew Wiggins, Duncan Robinson, Kel’el Ware, and two first-round picks
Phoenix Suns trade: Kevin Durant
So far, Heat trade rumors have been saying that they won’t put Kel’el Ware in any trade talks. If they do, this trade package could be one of the best offers the Suns receive.
The Suns would be walking the line between replenishing some draft picks and getting players that could help Devin Booker and Bradley Beal compete right now.
Wiggins is just a couple of seasons removed from his first All-Star selection. Ware has shown a lot of promise as a developing big man. And Duncan Robinson remains one of the most lethal three-point shooters in the league.
Add a couple of draft picks to either flip or keep as insurance in case things go wrong, and this Heat trade offer would be a homerun.

Until the Heat put Ware on the table, this Durant-Suns trade won’t happen. When the Heat want to make a serious offer that the Suns will consider, it might require him being available.
