The Phoenix have been waiting a long time for the return of Jalen Green after re-aggravating the hamstring strain that kept him out of the start of the 2025-26 season.
A lot of questions have spiraled around the former No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and when he will come back to the court at full strength.
On Monday, the Suns announced that Jalen Green has made progress on the hamstring injury. However, the 23-year-old guard will be missing at least another two to three weeks, Duane Rankin of the AZ Central reported.

Understanding the injury to Suns G Jalen Green
Jalen Green was acquired by the Phoenix Suns in the offseason blockbuster trade that sent Kevin Durant on July 6.
The first-year Sun sustained a right hamstring strain during training camp that resulted in him missing Phoenix's first eight games of the season.
His return to the court while on a minutes restriction was electric, dropping 29 points, three rebounds, and three assists in just 23 minutes.
In his second game back on Nov. 8, Green re-aggravated the hamstring strain after playing in just seven minutes. He's been out ever since.
Phoenix hasn't truly been able to have Green playing so far in his tenure with the Suns. However, these next two to three weeks will determine whether he's ready to make his return or will need more time for the injury to heal.
So far this season, the Suns are just two games above.500 with a 15-13 record. Jalen Green's impact on the court will pair him with franchise superstar Devin Booker, making for one of the best scoring backcourt duos in the NBA.
