The Phoenix Suns entered Wednesday night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers looking to improve on a four-game winning streak.

They got an added boost ahead of the matchup as well, with Mark Williams returning to the starting lineup following his one-game suspension that came after Saturday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Both Jose Alvarado and Williams were ejected and suspended for their altercation. However, Alvarado received a longer suspension (two games).

That said, the Cavaliers got off to a hot start in the first quarter and led for nearly the entire game.

Cleveland outscored Phoenix 37-21 in the first frame and never relinquished the lead after that. Phoenix finished with only four players in double-figures, including Devin Booker who scored 32.

Despite the return of Williams, Phoenix couldn't defend around the rim well enough. The Cavaliers outscored Phoenix in the paint 56-36.

Following the game, Williams opened up on his suspension and it's safe to say he didn't agree with the NBA's ruling. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do in that situation. He grabbed me, pushed me. I don't think what I got is just. I'll appeal it, but it's over, we're past it."

Instead of appealing sooner, Williams decided to serve his suspension against Washington, which guaranteed his availability for a tougher matchup Wednesday against Cleveland.

Now finished with a four-game road trip, the Suns will return to Phoenix for back-to-back home games against the Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder.
