The Phoenix Suns have been the biggest pleasant surprise of this NBA season. In the past few campaigns, the Suns have been disappointing, even though they had a trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal.

Now, Booker is the only remaining member of that core. However, they are still doing much better than before. That is due to a much more cohesive team that includes new additions, Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green.

Brooks knows the Suns have more potential

Before this season started, many doubted the Suns would even reach the postseason. Nowadays, that is not a problem anymore because they are firmly in the postseason race.

Booker has been the primary reason for their success as the Suns' best player. However, he has been supported by a fantastic supporting cast, spearheaded by Brooks, who has become a genuine leader.

Now that Green is back in the fold after dealing with two hamstring injuries, the Suns are almost fully healthy. That has not been the case for the entire season, but now, they can say that they are confident moving forward.

"We have more in the tank. I kind of knew we were going to be in this position if we played hard and played together," Brooks said to Duane Rankin about the Suns' potential.

Brooks himself will be a huge contributor for the Suns, as he has cemented himself as a great two-way player. With Green, they have a three-headed monster with Booker and Brooks.

It will be an interesting second half of the season for the Suns because they have this awesome squad being coached by Jordan Ott, one of the best coaches of the season.
