Tyrese Maxey embraced the opportunity.
The Philadelphia 76ers' high-scoring guard was asked whether he wanted to take part in some kind of showcase at the National Dog Show, which is held in Philly.
Maxey has three dogs, and he went for it.
His task ended up being to do an agility course with a dog.
And the video is priceless:

Maxey ended up doing the course with a pair of pups.
The interactions were great, with that first dog at one point just deciding that nope, it's time to play, not run back and forth between some poles.
At the end of it all, Maxey had a huge smile on his face.
The crowd in Philadelphia, too, surely appreciated their talented basketball player getting out to take part in some fun in a different arena.
And now those dogs can go brag to their friends that they got to hang out with Maxey.
