Tyrese Maxey scored a ton on Thursday night for the Philadelphia 76ers in an overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Along the way, he did a little bit of everything else, too.
It added up to a set of stats that has never been done before in NBA history, according to StatMuse.
The total package of numbers that were a league first looked like this:
- 54 points
- 5 rebounds
- 9 assists
- 3 steals
- 3 blocks
- 6 3-pointers
What an absolutely brilliant night.

The 54 points for Maxey were a career-high, and they're a culmination of a couple seasons spent becoming one of the league's most dangerous scorers.
Early in his career, Maxey had to figure out how to exist with the other stars the 76ers had around him. Now, those other stars have to figure out how to play with Maxey. He's the straw that stirs the drink.
The rest of that well-rounded stat line is evidence of Maxey's continued growth, too. He's mostly considered a scorer, but to have three steals and three blocks in a key conference game, while also dishing out nine dimes, shows the type of player he's becoming.

The 76ers have dealt with injury troubles at other spots this season. Will they ever have a normal Joel Embiid again? Paul George is just back. Jared McCain's usage has been limited so far.
But they know they have Maxey, and at this point, that's all they need. When he has his best performances, the 76ers are still tough to beat.
