The Philadelphia 76ers have the Eastern Conference Player of the Week in Tyrese Maxey.

On Monday afternoon, the league announced the top performers from last week. Maxey is representing the Eastern Conference, sharing the spotlight with Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija, who won it for the Western Conference.

Over the past three games, Maxey has seen the court for 40.7 minutes per matchup.

The young star is shooting the ball at a high clip, draining 61 percent of his shots from the field. Attempting 8.7 threes per game, Maxey knocked down 53 percent of his shots.

The one-time All-Star averaged 34.7 points, 8.7 assists, and 6.3 rebounds throughout a 3-0 stretch, which included wins over the Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks, and the New York Knicks.

Maxey is Working on a Second All-Star Campaign

Last week, the NBA announced the first results from NBA All-Star fan voting. Maxey was in a favorable spot, being one of a few players to land over one million votes in the Eastern Conference.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with nearly 1.2 million votes. Maxey was second, holding 1.07 million votes. Jalen Brunson and Cade Cunningham were the two others with over one million in the East.

Maxey didn’t make the NBA All-Star game last year, after getting his first nod in 2023-2024. This year, he’s back on track and having a career-best season.

In 31 games, Maxey has posted averages of 31.1 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds. He’s been making 47 percent of his shots from the field and draining 40 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.

Maxey and the Sixers will continue their campaign on Monday night, with a matchup against the undermanned Nuggets
