The Philadelphia 76ers aren't strangers to having a bulky injury report.
That's certainly the case on Friday.
They play an NBA Cup matchup against the Detroit Pistons, and there are some confirmed absences as well as a bit of uncertainty.
The same is true for the Pistons, so it'll go right up until tipoff until we know for sure what these lineups might look like.
Philadelphia 76ers injury report
The 76ers have already listed three players as out for Friday's game against the Pistons.
That trio is:
- Joel Embiid (right knee soreness)
- Paul George (left knee surgery recovery)
- Jared McCain (G League on assignment)
McCain had made his way back from injury but is down in the G League currently to get his legs underneath him, a bit of an unusual move but one the 76ers felt was best.
The 76ers also have one player listed as questionable:
- VJ Edgecombe (back spasms).
You can track an updated injury report at this link to see if Edgecombe's status changes.
The 76ers have also announced that they will have Hunter Sallis available. He's on a two-way contract but will be up with the big club on Friday night.
