When the Orlando Magic are healthy, they can be quite formidable.
Their new big three of Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane is a fantastic core trio. Add in point guard Jalen Suggs and big guy Wendell Carter Jr., and that's a promising starting lineup.
But the bench? Not quite as good.
ESPN's Bobby Marks wrote Tuesday that bench scoring and health are the two things the Magic need to address.
"Finances aside, health is one of the Magic's biggest needs with Suggs, Desmond Bane, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. Starting only a third of the games this season," Marks writes.

ESPN's Zach Kram has an idea to fix the bench: a trade for Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas.
"The Nets' Cam Thomas would be a great pickup," Kram wrote. "His $5.9 million salary fits with Jones or Howard and gives Orlando a 20-point scorer off the bench."
Thomas is averaging 21.0 points per game this season. He's one of those guys you consider a walking bucket.
On the court, there may not be much else contributed by Thomas. But he's going to put the orange sphere through the cylinder, and that's all that matters for a super sub like he would be in Orlando.
For the Magic to maximize this season, they certainly need to get healthy. And then if they add a guy like Thomas on top of that, Orlando could be tough to face in the postseason.
