Mac McClung has never really gotten a shot at the NBA level, outside of the dunk contest, where he's a three-time champion.
But the Orlando Magic have at least some interest in keeping McClung around.
On Monday, the Magic extended McClung his two-way qualifying offer, which allows Orlando to match if another team wants to sign the high flyer to a two-way contract. The Orlando Sentinel's Jason Beede reported the news.
McClung has appeared in six total games in his NBA career: two apiece with the Magic and 76ers, and one apiece with the Bulls and Lakers.
He has averaged 5.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game across those appearances.

McClung is one of the NBA G League's top players. You'd think at some point a team would see if he could cut it at the NBA level, but nobody has.
He's a bit small at 6-foot-2, but his athleticism makes up for that.
The Magic don't necessarily need to count on McClung for anything in 2025-26. The trade away of Cole Anthony and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope freed up a bit of space, but with Desmond Bane coming back to Orlando in that deal, it's not like there's a huge opening.
McClung is 26 years old. Hopefully somebody will give him a real shot someday.
