Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has had a historic 2024 campaign, and his performance in the NBA Finals thus far has placed him among the all-time greats of the league.

Through five games of the 2025 NBA Finals versus the Indiana Pacers, Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 32.4 points per game, which is the third most by a guard in Finals history.

The only guards who have averaged more points in a Finals series than Gilgeous-Alexander are Michael Jordan (33.6) and Allen Iverson (35.6).

Gilgeous-Alexander still has at least one more game to add to his historic scoring output in the Finals, but nevertheless, the 27-year-old has proven that he is one of the best players in the world and is on the brink of leading the Thunder to their first championship since moving to Oklahoma City from Seattle.

The Thunder will head back to Indiana for Game 6 on Thursday, where they can close out the series. If a Game 7 is needed, it will take place on Sunday in Oklahoma City.
