The Thunder had a historic start to the 2025-26 NBA regular season, but have quickly come down to earth in the past few weeks.

They looked unbeatable and on their way to winning consecutive NBA Finals, but that is being put on hold after this recent 10-game stretch.

They've been outplayed by several teams recently, including one team that was one of the worst in the league statistically for a while.

Which team has outplayed the Thunder recently?

The Thunder are just 5-5 in their last 10 games.

Among the other 29 teams in the NBA, 15 teams have more wins in their last 10 games played than the Thunder do (via StatMuse).

One of those teams is the Wizards, who are 6-4 in that stretch.

The Wizards started the season 1-15 and had one of the worst NETRTGs in the league, but now find themselves with a record of 10-25.

It doesn't sound like the most impressive stretch, but for a tanking team, they are starting to look like a capable group that should be treated more seriously when quality teams come into town.

The Wizards have had 9 players average 10+ points in this 10-game stretch, with CJ McCollum leading the way with 19.3 PPG.

Now, this is probably just a dull stretch for OKC, and ultimately, they are in a much better position to have success than the Wizards are, but this situation isn't something you see too often.
