Bucks and Cavaliers meet in key Eastern Conference matchup Monday night image

The Milwaukee Bucks (8-6) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (9-5) meet Monday night at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, OH., at 7 pm on Peacock as superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Donovan Mitchell are in the spotlight.

The Bucks come in to Monday’s matchup seventh in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Cavaliers are third.

Despite guard Kevin Porter, Jr. Being out of action since Oct. 22, with a right knee meniscus injury which required surgery, the Bucks are seventh in the East with 26.8 assists per game with Antetokounmpo as the main catalyst with an average of 7.1.

The Cavaliers have also been machines in the assists department, ranked sixth in the East with 27.6 per game as Mitchell leads the way with an average of 5.4.

With the injury bug hitting Cleveland in the early stages of the season, forward Evan Mobley has been the consistent piece with an average of 19.2 points per game, to go along with a 46.8 percent mark from the field.

Guard Ryan Rollins has stepped up in more ways than one for the Bucks in Porter Jr.’s absence. Rollins comes into Monday’s game as the second in scoring and assists for Milwaukee with 16.9 ppg and 5.4 apg in 14 games.

Milwaukee and Cleveland meet for the second time this season. The Cavaliers got the best of the Bucks, 118-13 on Oct. 26 as Mitchell led the team with 24 points in the win, while Antetokounmpo dropped a game-high 40 points in defeat.

Michael Grady (play-by-play), along with Robbie Hummel and Austin Rivers (on the bench analysts) have the call on Peacock Monday night.
