Pacers get concerning Aaron Nesmith injury news before Game 4 image

The Indiana Pacers took the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals before the New York Knicks won Game 3 to make the series a bit more interesting.

In Game 4, Tyrese Haliburton's dad is allowed back after being kept from games following an altercation with Giannis Antetokounmpo in the first round.

But, the Pacers have a home game in Game 4 and will look to go up 3-1 with the NBA Finals right around the corner. Unfortunately, the Pacers injury report on Monday is a cause for concern.

Injury Report for tomorrow’s game against the Knicks: Aaron Nesmith - Questionable (right ankle sprain) Isaiah Jackson - Out (right Achilles tendon tear)

Jackson has been out basically the entire season, but Nesmith popping on the report is worrisome.  On Sunday in Game 3, Nesmith played 26 minutes and had eight points with seven rebounds in the loss.

In Game 1, he exploded with 30 points and eight three-pointers including a hot streak like no other to help the Pacers come back in thrilling fashion.

In Game 2, Nesmith had 12 points and seven rebounds, so he has been a breath of fresh air for the Pacers in the ECF.

Nesmith headed to the locker room in Game 3 before being able to return to the floor, but the questionable tag is a bit worrisome for Indiana.

If he isn't able to go, that likely means more minutes for one of Obi Toppin or Benedict Mathurin, so Nesmith's status will be one to watch going into Game 4 on Tuesday.
