NBA Finals action resumes Friday, as the Pacers host the Thunder in Indiana for the second consecutive game.

Friday morning, the officiating crew for Game 4 was released by the NBA.

Who will be officiating Game 4?

According to NBA.com, Game 4 will be officiated by Scott Foster, Josh Tiven and Sean Wright.

These are the following positions for each referee:

  • Scott Foster - Crew Chief
  • Josh Tiven - Referee
  • Sean Wright - Umpire
  • Courtney Kirkland - Alternate

Scott Foster has picked up the nickname 'The Extender' by social media, as people joke that the NBA brings him in to extend series.

Based on Foster's stats this postseason, the Pacers could benefit despite Foster having this nickname.

In Foster's six games refereed this postseason, the home team has won four out of six games.

Josh Tiven has reffed seven games this postseason, where the home team has a 70% win rate.

Sean Wright's stats for games he's refereed this postseason have been very different than Tiven and Foster's.

He's reffed eight games this postseason, with seven of those games as a regular crew member.

Do these stats mean much? Most likely not much.
