High-flying slams and unorthodox props will be featured heavily in the 2019 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, which will serve as the finale of Saturday night's All-Star festivities.

It doesn't feature the same star power as the 3-point contest or skills competition, but dunks still carry a certain prestige and the event is never short on excitement. Two rookies and a pair of second-year players will make up this year's field, which won't feature defending champion Donovan Mitchell.

Here is everything to know about the 2019 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, including a lineup of participants, a history of past winners, and how to watch live on TV and stream online.
