Magic Johnson, arguably the greatest point guard in NBA history, sits atop the leaderboard for most playoff career assists. In second is LeBron James one of two active players on the top 10 of the all-time list.

As can be seen below, LeBron James, who ranks second with 1919 assists, is the only active player on the top 10 of this list.

The next highest active player on the list is James' former teammate Rajon Rondo. He is placed at sixth with 1136 postseason career assists and could rise to fifth and surpass Tony Parker.

Midway through the 2021 playoffs, the other active players in the top 40 of this list are Chirs Paul (1008, 12th), Russell Westbrook (874, 21st), James Harden (819, 26th), Draymond Green (754, 32nd), Stephen Curry (704, 33rd) and Kevin Durant (616, 39th).
