LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all time and one of the greatest postseason performers the game has ever seen.

James had been to numerous NBA Finals, including eight straight appearances in it from 2011-2018.

It's no surprise that he leads many records for playoff stats, but one NBA Finals stat that he leads is mind-blowing.

What crazy lead does LeBron have in one stat category?

@extrastats on X recently posted a graphic showing the active points leaders for the NBA Finals:

As you can see, LeBron towers over all the players, including greats like Steph Curry.

LeBron had four NBA Finals battles with Curry and the Warriors, so many memories that people associate with LeBron are also associated with Curry being there.

LeBron's point total is so impressive that even with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson's point totals combined, LeBron still has a higher total (LeBron: 1,562, Steph & Klay: 1,538).

Curry and Thompson combined for 67 games played in the NBA Finals, while LeBron has played in 55 games.

We will see next season if any of those players can get back to the promised land and add to their point totals.
