On Monday, an insider reported that a new team could be in the sweepstakes to try and trade for Durant last minute.

What team is inquiring about Durant?
Matt Moore of Hardwood Paroxysm reported that the Suns were receiving calls from the Clippers about Durant (via Sam Amico).
A healthy Clippers team could feature a 'big three' of Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden.
It's not clear what Los Angeles would put together to get a deal done, but it's been assumed that the price to get a trade done won't be nearly as much as it would have been a few years ago.

Durant is on the back end of his career and only has one year left on his contract, so the Suns will have to give in to the best offer they get if they want to move him this offseason.
Several other teams like the Rockets, Timberwolves, Spurs and others are possible organizations that will look to add KD to their team this offseason.

In the 2024-25 season, KD averaged 26.6 PPG, 6.0 RPG and 4.2 APG.
Durant will be 37 years old next season.
