NBA on TNT had its last broadcast a few days ago, as we now look forward to some of the moving pieces going to ESPN.

The 'Inside the NBA' crew will be joining ESPN, but we don't know yet if it will look the same or very different from how it was on TNT.

Charles Barkley is one of the major figures out of that group and recently gave a major update on his career in broadcasting.

Is Charles Barkley retiring soon?

The NBA Hall of Famer went on the 'Dan Patrick Show' recently, talking about the final show on TNT from Saturday, as well as his future in televison.

Barkley talked about how although he has seven years left on his contract, he doesn't know how much time he has left in the tank.

He wants to be considerate of his studio colleagues, saying "I'm gonna be a good soldier for Kenny, Ernie, and Shaq, and the people I work with."

At some point, he will have to call it a career, which sounds like it will be in a couple of years.
