For those who don't know, NBA Centel on X is a parody account known for purposely putting out fake rumors/headlines for laughs to catch people off guard.
As interesting as it would be to see Stephen A. in the interview process, this is a fake rumor and false. The report is attributed to @ChrisBHayne, a "fan account" for NBA insider Chris Haynes, whose X handle is @ChrisBHaynes.
Despite recently signing a $100 million contract to stay with ESPN, Stephen A. Smith has voiced his desire to possibly run for president in the next election, so I guess we can never rule out that he might do something as crazy as taking a coaching position one day.
Stay tuned for the latest news around the Knicks, as they now search for their next head coach in the coming months. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, they're determined to find a "new voice" in pursuit of another championship.
