The New York Knicks had a bit of an up-and-down start to the season, but so far in the month of November, the team is 6-1 and finding their groove.
With the team already missing star point guard Jalen Brunson the other night against the Heat, they would need to count on the rest of their squad to fill in the gaps.
While New York won the game against Miami, they did lose yet another player who heavily contributes to the success of this team. During the IST game against the Heat, OG Anunoby injured his hamstring and was unable to return to the game.
Today, we got an update from ESPN’s Shams Charania on just how long Anunoby will be out.

Anunoby to miss entire Knicks road trip
It was announced Sunday morning by Charania that OG Anunoby would be reevaluated in two weeks with his left hamstring injury.

This is a massive hit for a Knicks team that was already down their star point producer. Being down one of your top defenders could be an even bigger blow in the grand scheme of things.
This roster is set to withstand hits to its point production, thanks to its wealth of depth. Defensively, however, the team relies heavily on both OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges. With Anunoby out, most of that responsibility now falls on Bridges.
Over the stretch of New York’s road trip, they will play the Heat, Mavericks, Magic, Nets, and Hornets. Not an easy portion of games by any stretch of the imagination.
