The Ringer updated its Top 100 NBA Player Rankings on Tuesday, and the New York Knicks were featured prominently in the new edition.
The Knicks had six players in the new rankings, the second most of any team, trailing only the Oklahoma City Thunder (8).
Guard Jalen Brunson stayed at No. 9 overall. Brunson is seventh in the league in scoring, averaging 29.1 points per night. He's shooting 48.2% from the field, 37.4% from deep and 84.7% from the line.
"Brunson still spends more time with the ball in his hands than just about every player in the NBA, but as he adjusts to a new system that wants the sum to be greater than its individual parts, New York’s perennial MVP candidate is doing a very good job sharing the spotlight."
Next for the Knicks was Karl-Anthony Towns, who moved up a spot to 20th. Below Towns was OG Anunoby at No. 40.
"Mike Brown has the Knicks jacking up 3s like never before—particularly Anunoby, who has found himself open enough, often enough to really let it fly."
Mikal Bridges ranked No. 52, a four-spot rise from the previous rankings. Bridges has had three-straight 20+ point games, including 24 points in a win over the Miami Heat on Sunday.
The Knick who made the biggest leap was Josh Hart, who jumped 14 spots to No. 78. Hart's averaging 12.2 points per game while shooting 50.4% from the field. Mitchell Robinson, who moved up three spots to No. 97, rounded out the list for New York.
