You've probably seen something like this before. A player dives into the front rows trying to save the ball from going out of bounds and crashes into the spectators.

Sometimes, drinks splatter across the sidelines. Or the player takes advantage of the opportunity and sits down to catch their breath.

New York Knicks forward Josh Hart found himself crashing into the sidelines in the third quarter during Wednesday night's victory against the Dallas Mavericks. After ensuring everyone was okay, Hart grabbed an M&M from a fan sitting courtside before rejoining his team on defense.

"Hart is taking some peanut M&M's from him!" ESPN's Mike Breen said with a chuckle on the game's broadcast. "That's why you pay for those seats," former Mavericks small forward Richard Jefferson added.

The Knicks captured their first road win of the season with a 113-111 victory at the American Airlines Center. Hart played 30 minutes, scoring 16 points with 10 rebounds and five assists.

Hart's obsession with candy

Jalen Brunson has shaken his head several times while watching Hart eat the fruit-flavored candy Mike and Ike at the podium during postgame press conferences.

Last month, Hart agreed to juggle two jobs: a professional basketball player and the "Chief Candy Officer" of Mike and Ike. He will help the brand with flavor innovation, among many other things.

“I’d dump a box of Mike & Ike in my parka. Because if they ever saw me with it, they’d make me throw it out,” Hart said about his coaches at Villanova in an interview with the New York Post's Stefan Bondy two years ago. “So I had to sneak it and hide it. Like I was like a little fat kid.”

Hart will continue to show his love for Mike and Ike while the head coach, Mike Brown, and the Knicks hope he continues this recent level of production on the court.
