New York Knicks forward Josh Hart is enjoying one of the best seasons of his NBA career in 2025-26, and his teammates are taking notice.
Hart had himself another strong game against the Miami Heat on Sunday, scoring 13 points while shooting 3-5 from three-point range, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out five assists in a 132-125 win.
After the game, his teammate, Jalen Brunson was asked about Hart’s impact on the floor.
“He does great things on both sides of the ball. I think his impact, you can't really tell from the stat sheet, but by the eye test, everyone knows that he's a competitor. He brings a winning style of basketball to this team. We need him,” Brunson said.
After a slow start to the season, Hart has been a revelation for the Knicks since being inserted into the starting lineup, and it’s paid dividends for the Knicks.
Hart is having a strong season for the Knicks this year, averaging 12.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor, and 39 percent from three-point range. His Swiss-army knife play style has helped propel the Knicks to a 20-8 record, good for second in the Eastern Conference.
