The New York Knicks entered Sunday's matchup at home against the Orlando Magic with a 15-7 record. Along with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Knicks have been nearly unbeatable at home.

That trend continued on Sunday as New York defeated Orlando by six points in a low scoring affair. In the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns, naturally it was Jalen Brunson who took initiative on the offensive side of the ball. Brunson scored 30 points to go along with nine assists and two rebounds. OG Annunoby added 21 points on 5-for-7 shooting from three-point range. Josh Hart stepped up on the glass with Towns sidelined, posting a double-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and one block.

New York's defense was strong throughout the contest, holding the Magic to 29% shooting from three-point range and 38% from the field.

The win moved the Knicks to 13-1 at home, their best home start to a season in franchise history since the 1992-93 Knicks, a team led by Patrick Ewing and coached by Pat Riley. That season, the Knicks set a franchise record for home record in a singe season, finishing the year 37-4 at home. After a deep playoff run, they ultimately fell to the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals.

New York will have their next two games on the road against the Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers before having a chance to break the franchise record for best home start against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
