Jeremiah Fears makes bold prediction about his future in the NBA image

Pelicans rookie Jeremiah Fears might be more confident than your average player.

He made a very bold statement on Saturday night when asked about how he sees his career playing out.

What was the bold statement that he made?

Fears answered a question about what an ideal career would look like for him, saying, "I would definitely say top-two point guard of all time."

Fears has picked up the nickname 'zero fears' after selecting number zero with the Pelicans.

He's already embodied that mentality and wholeheartedly believes he has the potential to reach the ceiling he set for himself.

There are so many big names when it comes to the greatest point guards of all-time, meaning Fears will have to build a resume better than at least all but one of Magic Johnson, Steph Curry, Isiah Thomas, Oscar Robertson, John Stockton and many others.

It's very early, so you never know, but the bar is now set for him to follow the trajectories of some of these big names.

Fears was selected 7th overall in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft.
