Timberwolves fans get relief after recent Anthony Edwards injury update during Warriors game image

The Minnesota Timberwolves evened up the series with the Golden State Warriors last night, winning Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals 117-93.

Although the Warriors were missing superstar point guard Stephen Curry, this was a must-win for the T-Wolves, as they had lost Game 1 at home after an abysmal shooting performance. Now the series will head back to the Bay Area, with Golden State attempting to protect home court and stall for time until Curry returns from injury.

The entire state of Minnesota held its breath for a few minutes last night when Anthony Edwards fell awkwardly on his ankle. After missing the rest of the first half, Ant-Man returned following some halftime warmups and finished the game out.

Following the win, Edwards was asked how he and his ankle felt.

"Feeling great, yup, feeling great."

He finished the game with a team high +/- of +21, and also turned around his poor shooting numbers from Game 1, with a solid performance of 46% from the floor and two of four from three-point range.

Edwards will certainly be ready for Saturday night's Game 3, but Golden State will still be missing their equalizer in Curry. Minnesota will look to take home-court advantage back, and in the process, take a commanding series lead before the Warriors' MVP sees the floor again.
