A revamped Milwaukee Bucks squad's approach for the 2025-26 season has been revealed.
“Last year, we were the best 3-point shooting team in the NBA efficiency-wise, average at best in frequency. I think we were probably like 15, 16, 17,” Bucks general manager Jon Horst said during Summer League in July in Las Vegas two months ago.

“I think if we get that number into the top 10 and we stay in the top two or three percentage-wise, it’s going to have a big impact on our productivity throughout the season," Horst opined. "Our style of play will allow us to do that, and the talent we have will allow us to do that.”
New additions Myles Turner, Cole Anthony and even a far-past-his-prime Gary Harrison could all help shore up Milwaukee's 3-point shooting and open up driving lanes for nine-time All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The club will be without nine-time All-Star point guard Damian Lillard, who tore his Achilles tendon during the playoffs and will likely miss the entire season.
Horst opted to flip the 6-foot-2 Weber State product and bring in 3-and-D former Indiana Pacers starting center Turner to supplant another core championship cog, aging All-Defensive big Brook Lopez.
Per Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Milwaukee took a middling 36.6 triple tries a game last year. Lillard and Lopez were both frequent 3-point shooters, but Nehm posits that Gary Trent Jr. could seriously boot his output, among many others.
