The Chicago Bulls were unhappy with Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday night.

As the Milwaukee Bucks superstar was expected to let the clock run out in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, Giannis took the conclusion of the game in a different direction.

The “Greek Freak” decided to break the NBA’s unwritten rule by flying down the court with the ball and throwing down a highlight-reel dunk, which set the Bulls off.

"I'm assuming Giannis was mad about that report that came out the Bulls didn't want to trade for him," Bulls center Nikola Vucevic said to reporters after the game.

“He shouldn’t have dunked the ball. It’s disrespectful to the game. I said, ‘Bro, you’re better than that.’ The game is over with. Why you gotta do that? It’s a respect thing,” Chicago guard Coby White stated.

Giannis didn’t care. After the game, there wasn’t an apology or an excuse. The ex-MVP stood on his decision and even went to social media after to capitalize on a photo that was snapped in the moment.

“I ain't no painter but you get the picture,” Giannis wrote on the social media platform, X.

Antetokounmpo checked in for 25 minutes on Saturday night. He went 10-15 from the field and 8-10 from the charity stripe. He produced 29 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.

The Bucks took care of business with a 112-103 victory. While they are still low in the Eastern Conference standings with a 13-19 record, Antetokounmpo was sending a message upon his return.

@idcstfumaynee: U own Chicago demon

@SeyiGlobal: Picture perfect way to remind Chicago who's daddy. Stay salty, Bulls

@barfield_gina: No brush needed, the message is crystal clear and the confidence speaks louder than any artwork

@big_business: Chicago Bulls are soft for even getting mad

Saturday was Giannis’ first game since recovering from a calf injury that he suffered earlier this month. His playing time was more limited than usual, but his production was clearly up to par.

Antetokounmpo explained that his late-game decision to dunk the ball was a matter of lighting a fire under the Bucks, who need urgency at this stage of the season. It’s just one game, but the Bucks seem to be getting on the right path.
