The Milwaukee Bucks continue to show up in trade rumors as they look for ways to improve things with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to the latest, one name to watch is Brooklyn Nets wing Michael Porter Jr. The Nets will likely wait to make a deal, but it’s good to hear Milwaukee is looking around.

Zach Bachar of Bleacher Report had the latest on the rumors.

“According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls are all potential landing spots for Porter on the trade market,” he wrote.

From Milwaukee’s side, there’s fit and upside with Porter. Porter is a decent player on a massive contract, but he’d give them size and shooting. The Bucks always want to add shooters around Antetokounmpo but it’s important to note that he’s a poor defender.

However, he can score at an elite level and space the floor. He’s also a decent rebounder, averaging 7.5 per game, which is something Milwaukee has been lacking this year.

The Bucks don’t have many assets left, and any wrong moves might hurt the chances of keeping Antetokounmpo happy.

However, Jon Horst has shown he’s willing to do what it takes to win, and right now, Porter has been very good. If it goes as well as it can, Antetokounmpo and Porter can be a great fit together.
