The Milwaukee Bucks' recent years of failure in the postseason have sparked some interesting news and rumors throughout this offseason.
Milwaukee has made some big moves over the last few months in attempts to keep Antetokounmpo satisfied, as its main goal is to continue to win championships. However, trying to get this done has been a struggle since winning it all in 2021.
The Bucks haven't won a playoff series since 2022, and the Bucks' superstar is starting to question his future in Milwaukee.
Is Giannis Antetokounmpo still unsure about his future in Milwaukee?
With numerous teams beginning media day this week, Giannis Antetokounmpo was absent for the Bucks after picking up a case of COVID, NBA insider Jamal Collier reported.
This hasn't stopped the media from finding some interesting news on the former NBA MVP.
Bucks owner Wes Edens addressed Antetokounmpo's future with the team, saying, "I had a great conversation with Giannis in June, and he made it clear that he is committed to Milwaukee and he likes having his family here."
Antetokounmpo reacted quickly to the statement, saying that he "cannot recall that meeting." He went on to explain how he views the franchise.
"I believe in my teammates. I believe in the people around me. I believe in the moves [the organization] makes," he said, according to Bucks Lead on X.
There's a lot to take in from these interactions, but it definitely seems like there's a lot going on behind the scenes that is yet to be made public. With the start of the NBA regular season less than a month away, it will be interesting to see what Giannis Antetokounmpo's career will look like moving forward.
