The Milwaukee Bucks took it easy on Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday as he continues to work his way back to game shape from an abductor strain injury.

Antetokounmpo did not take it easy on the Brooklyn Nets.

Giannis played just 19 minutes in the Bucks' win on Saturday.

In those 19 minutes, he led the entire game in scoring.

These were the Antetokounmpo stats in 19 minutes:

  • 29 points
  • 12-for-15 FG
  • 1-for-2 3FG
  • 4-for-8 FT
  • 8 rebounds
  • 2 assists
  • 2 steals

To score that many points in that little time, you've got to be efficient, and Giannis was with his 80% conversion from the floor.

He could've had even a few more points if he had a better day at the foul line.

The entire Bucks starting five was in double figures: A.J. Green 15, Kevin Porter Jr. 13, Ryan Rollins 10 and Myles Turner 10 joined Antetokunmpo.

The Nets were led in scoring with 22 from rookie Danny Wolf off the bench.

The Bucks won so comfortably that Thanasis Antetokounmpo got in for three minutes and scored a bucket.

But this night was about Giannis.

He wasn't in the game for long. But when he was on the floor, he wasn't going to be stopped.
