Tyler Herro reached a historic 3-point milestone on Tuesday night.
In the process, he actually achieved his history with the Miami Heat one game faster than Golden State Warriors legend Stephen Curry did during his career.
The official NBA Stats account on X shared this information:
- Herro reached 1,000 career 3-pointers in 368 games.
- It took Curry 369 games to reach 1,000 3s.
Herro is the sixth-fastest player to 1,000 3s.

Herro's milestone was about the only good thing on this night for the Heat. They were blitzed by the Minnesota Timberwolves, 122-94.
Herro came off the bench to score 17 points in 29 minutes. His only made 3-pointer, out of four attempts, was the milestone one. He shot 7-for-15 from the floor and added nine rebounds and three assists.
The Heat will hope Herro and the rest of the roster can bounce back when they return to the court Thursday in Chicago against the Bulls.
