The Miami Heat have bounced back recently, winning five of their last seven games as they attempt to climb back up the Eastern Conference standings.
Although they lost in their last matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, they welcomed the return of Tyler Herro who returned from a toe injury to play his first game in nearly a month.
Ahead of Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bulls, Miami is set to add another reinforcement.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. Is set to return after missing the last two games due to an ankle injury. According to NBA insider Anthony Chiang, Jaquez Jr. Has been upgraded to probable.
When in the lineup for Miami, Jaquez Jr. Has been one of the best bench players in the league. In 34 games this season, Jaquez Jr. Is averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. He leads the league in points off the bench this season, having scored 536. This is 35 points above third place (Keldon Johnson, SAS), despite playing in four less games.
With Jaquez Jr. Likely to return, the Heat are back to full health, missing only Terry Rozier who was placed on an immediate leave by the NBA in October.
As for Chicago, they'll be without Josh Giddey, Jalen Smith and Zach Collins.
A win for Miami would move them into a tie for seventh place in the conference with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Following Thursday's game, the Heat will have Friday off before returning to action Saturday on the road against the Indiana Pacers.
