Heat injury report for Dec. 9 vs. Magic: Miami gets positive news on multiple players image

The Miami Heat (14-10) will be looking to snap their three-game losing streak against the Orlando Magic (14-10) on Tuesday night.

Miami was without three of its top players in the Dec. 6 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Tyler Herro (toe), Davion Mitchell (groin), and Pelle Larsson (hip) all missed the game.

In Tuesday's injury report, it appears that the Heat will be getting back their reinforcements for the matchup.

Miami reported that Tyler Herro, Davion Mitchell, Pelle Larsson, and Dru Smith will all be available for Tuesday's game vs. The Magic.

Herro, 25, missed the past two games after revealing that he was dealing with an injury to his toe. His status was uncertain after getting an MRI, but it appears not to be serious, and he will return to the lineup.

In the five games he's appeared in this season, Herro is averaging 23.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.

Mitchell, 27, missed his first game of the season in the Dec. 6 loss to the Kings. He was dealing with right hip soreness. Miami's starting point guard has averaged 9.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and leads the team with 7.8 assists per game this season.

Larsson, 24, also missed his first game of the season on Dec. 6 with an injury to his right hip flexor. The second-year guard has made a huge jump this season, averaging 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.

Dru Smith, 27, was also listed on the report while dealing with a left hip contusion. He will play through the injury.
