Heat injury report: Updates on Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro and more image

The Miami Heat have struggled tremendously in 2025. Currently on a three-game losing streak, Miami has lost eight of their last nine matchups.

One of the biggest issues for Miami this season has been their inability to stay healthy. Tyler Herro missed the first 17 games of the season due to injury and played in just six contests before getting hurt again.

Heading into Friday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks, Herro is set to miss his sixth consecutive game and his 25th of the year due to a toe injury.

Additionally, Miami downgraded both Keshad Johnson and Bam Aedabyo to questionable. Johnson is reported to be battling an illness, while Adebayo is dealing with lower back soreness.

That said, Nikola Jovic and Pelle Larsson have been upgraded to probable.

Although there's plenty of time left in the season, Miami will hope to get back on the right track sooner rather than later. Their recent slide has seen them drop to eighth in the Eastern Conference at 15-15.

In order to do so, they'll need a lot more from Adebayo. Although he's taken accountability for the team's recent struggles, Adebayo is averaging his lowest point total since the 2019-2020 season and to this point has posted the lowest field goal percentage of his career (46.6%).

Herro returning to the lineup is vital, as Miami searches for a consistent running mate with Norman Powell, who's averaging a career high 23.7 points in his first season with the Heat.

After facing Atlanta Friday, the Heat will return home to face the Pacers Saturday.
