The Miami Heat received some positive injury news ahead of Tuesday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Guard Tyler Herro is set to return after missing the past 11 games with a toe injury. Herro was available during Sunday's win against the New Orleans Pelicans but did not play.

Nikola Jovic (groin) is also available, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Ankle) won't play against Minnesota. Timberwolves guard Terrence Shannon Jr. Is out with a foot injury.

Herro has played in just six games this season due to various injuries. He underwent left ankle surgery in the offseason, causing him to miss the first 17 games of this season.

He's averaged 23.2 points, five rebounds and 2.3 assists in his limited action. Herro, who's been known as one of the league's top shooters, is shooting 50.5% from the field and 40.5% from deep.

His return is significant news for the Heat. He averaged a career-high 23.9 points in 77 games last season and was named an All-Star for the first time. Herro is in his seventh season in Miami after being drafted by the team in 2019.

The Heat are looking for revenge against the Timberwolves, who defeated the Miami 125-115 on Saturday. Tonight's game will be the second and final meeting of the regular season between the teams.

Miami (20-16) is seventh in the Eastern Conference and has won five of its past six games. Tuesday's matchup begins a four-game road trip for the Heat, who will return home on Jan. 13 against the Phoenix Suns.
