The National Basketball Association has plenty of royalty.

This season, the NBA features a King, a Queen, an Ace and a Joker.

The King is LeBron James, known by that nickname for a couple of decades now.

The Joker is Nikola Jokic, who doesn't really get any time saved by having a two-syllable nickname for a two-syllable last name, but there it is.

The Queen is Derik Queen, the promising New Orleans Pelicans rookie out of Maryland.

And the Ace is Ace Bailey, the talented Utah Jazz rookie from Rutgers.

They've even got a Castle: Spurs guard Stephon Castle.

Jokic is coming off a 55-point game, and Queen just put up a career night with 26 points, seven rebounds and four assists, as shown below.

Who knew the NBA needed Jarrett Jack so badly? Time for a comeback from retirement for the guard with a name that would fit right in with this quartet.

And for those wondering if this means anything substantial: Nope, not really. It's just cool.

The NBA features the best basketball players in the world, and it has some royalty, too. Give them their crowns.
