James was a major contributor to the victory, checking in for 30 minutes.

NBA Fans React to Bronny’s Night

@LONDO87540615: Got the W in OT. Not bad

@WrldCade: League him

@FickDan: he literally just needs confidence... He has NONE when hes inserted into the main squad.

@murdamonkk: Goat

@outthewaytre: Hooper

@CraneRivers: hope this is the game gets him going. He also need to be super duper aggressive on defense end. Instead being playing like a polite gentlemen for too long. It won't help him staying in the main team play "safe"

@DonButler20: He be showing out in g league games I need this confidence in laker games when he does touch the court so he can have more opportunities to play.

@jaybaudelaire_: when he plays on ball and is able to get everyone involved, he’s really good man. His defense is elite and i hope he’s able to get some minutes on the lakers cause they need what he did tonight..

This year, Bronny has split time between the main roster and the G League.

During South Bay’s Tip-Off Tournament run, Bronny appeared in six games. He averaged 9.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.8 rebounds.

In the two regular season matchups before Saturday’s action, he averaged 15.5 points (57% from the field, 54% from three), and posted 1.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.

When playing with the LA Lakers, Bronny saw the court for 8.2 minutes per game in 18 matchups. He posted averages of 1.6 points, 1.3 assists, and under one rebound. He’s still working on becoming an everyday contributor for the main roster.
