LeBron James reacted to the news of Cooper Flagg's NBA Draft Lottery outcome like the rest of us did.

The only difference is that the 40-year old is now looking at battles against the 18-year old phenom Flagg on the court.

The Dallas Mavericks won the No. 1 pick and will almost assuredly choose Flagg.

James and the former Mavs superstar Luka Doncic will now have to battle in the uber-competitive Western Conference with yet another star.

The King will likely retire at whatever pace he so pleases, but things just got a bit more imposing with Flagg on a powerful West team.

Flagg could've gone to the Hornets, Wizards or even Jazz, and it wouldn't have really concerned James for the next year or two. In that scenario, by the time LeBron retired, maybe Flagg's team would finally be competing for a title.

But in this scenario, Dallas can win the West in Flagg's rookie season if Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving stay healthy.

James won't all of a sudden hang up his sneakers after the lottery, but his time is coming.

And when LeBron passes the torch, it might not just be to Luka in L.A. It might be to Cooper in Dallas, too.
