There are plenty of LeBron James stats that are mind-blowing to see.

However, there's one stat that is a direct result of LeBron James' longevity, and it will blow your mind.

What LeBron James stat will blow your mind?

LeBron has faced an incredible total of 1,823 opponents in his career (via
Tom Haberstroh).

That's 33.9% of players to ever play in the NBA, which is well over a third.

It's pretty incredible to think about, and it might be the most impressive stat about LeBron, especially considering he'll increase that number before he retires.

Andre Iguodala ranks first among players LeBron has played against the most, with the two facing off for a total of 70 games between the regular season and the playoffs.

Al Horford is the player he has beaten the most times, with 50 wins in 68 games.

The player he has lost to the most times is Paul Pierce, who has beaten LeBron 34 times.

The oldest player LeBron played as a rookie was Kevin Willis, who played his first season in 1984-85.

This means that LeBron has faced players who have played in the NBA from 1984 to 2026, spanning 42 years.

With rookies just coming into the league, that stretch will increase by even more, as it could span over 60+ seasons eventually.

To go a step further, Kevin Willis was in the NBA at the same time as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at one point, which means LeBron had an opponent who faced a player who played as early as the 1969 season.
