The Los Angeles Lakers have had a great offseason.

After fans would hound the front office for not making any significant moves in past free agencies, they have acquired Deandre Ayton, Marcus Smart, and Jake LaRavia.

However, they just lost a player who was once a highly recruited prospect as he is taking his talents to Lithuania.

According to Donatas Urbonas of Basket News, Cam Reddish will be signing with BC Šiauliai, which was described by Urbonas as “A club with a solid track record in Lithuanian basketball.”

Reddish was a former high school and Duke star and was selected tenth overall in the 2019 draft.

During his six-year career in the NBA, he never panned out how a majority thought he would, averaging 8.5 points per game in just 23 minutes played.

In his college days, Reddish had the opportunity to play with Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett. While playing as the third option, Reddish still solidified himself and was picked seven spots below Barrett.

While in the league, his best years were spent with the Atlanta Hawks, the team that drafted him. He averaged 10.9 points per game with the Hawks, but was traded to the New York Knicks in 2022, playing alongside a familiar face, Barrett.

After that, he played with the Portland Trailblazers and eventually found his way to the Lakers.

After two full seasons in Los Angeles, Reddish decided to pursue his career elsewhere and will now suit up in the Euro League, with hopes of playing in the NBA again one day.
