After a streak of seven straight wins, the Los Angeles Lakers have cooled down a bit, falling in two of their last three games. Against their rivals the Boston Celtics in their last game, they lost by 21 points in the absence of both LeBron James and Luka Doncic. Austin Reaves did what he could, scoring 36 points to go along with eight assists, but ultimately, Boston was in control from start to finish.

Doncic has missed the last two games for Los Angeles, welcoming the birth of his second daughter. Luckily for Lakers fans, instead of waiting until the team arrived home, Doncic has rejoined the team in Philadelphia ahead of their next game against the 76ers according to Lakers insider Dan Woike.

When in the lineup, Luka has performed as a top MVP candidate. Thus far in 16 games, Doncic is leading the league in scoring, averaging 35.3 points per game to go along with 8.9 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Along with Austin Reaves, the two are the highest scoring duo in the league with Reaves averaging 29.3 points per game, fifth in the league.

LeBron James may return to the floor as well, being listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup.

Tied for third in the Western Conference at 16-6, Los Angeles will need to keep their foot on the gas pedal in order to avoid losing ground to other contenders like the Nuggets, Spurs and Timberwolves.

After Sunday's game, Los Angeles will return home to face San Antonio on Wednesday.
